ELECTRIC
LIFT TRUCKS
- Clean machine (with compressed
air)
- Clean grease fittings and lubricate
- Check upright assembly for proper
adjustment and lubricate
- Check hydraulic sump filter cap,
clean or replace if necessary
- Check hydraulic oil level, fill
if necessary
- Check and lubricate all connecting
shafts and levers
- Check steering gear box level,
fill if necessary (manual steering)
- Check power steering for proper
operation and adjustment
- Check differential oil level, fill
if necessary
- Check power steering for proper
operation and adjustment
- Inspect lift and tilt cylinders
for leaks
- Inspect brake pedal linkage for
proper adjustment
- Inspect battery, check water level
- Check battery cables and receptacles
- Check contactor assembly and all
switches for proper operation

anchors, adjust and tighten as necessary

- Blow out radiator core and clean
truck with compressed air
- Clean grease fittings and lubricate
- Change engine oil and oil filter
element
- Check transmission and differential
oil level, fill if necessary
- Check hydraulic oil level, fill
if necessary
- Clean air cleaner, inspect hose
and connections
- Check battery, add water and clean
terminals
- Check and lubricate all connecting
shafts and levers
- Check alternator and fan drive
belts for proper tension
- Check fuel, oil, and water systems
and all hydraulic hoses for leaks
- Check radiator for proper coolant
level, fill if necessary
- Inspect brake pedal linkage for
proper adjustment
- Inspect inching pedal linkage for
proper adjustment
- Check brake fluid reservoir level.
- Inspect parking brake lever for
proper adjustment
- Check distributor points for proper
adjustment and condition (Gas/LPG)
- Inspect spark plugs and ignition
system
- Check mast assembly for proper
adjustment and lubricate

- Check power steering for proper

- Check tilt cylinder rod ends and
anchors, adjust and tighten as necessary
- Check tire and wheel condition,
tighten hub bolts if necessary
